BBYO's 2014 Summer Experiences Volume 1 | Page 14

Par e n t W e lcom e M e s s ag e During BBYO’s Summer Experiences, teens can define what makes these weeks a highlight of their year and our destinations a home away from home. With BBYO, in the few months between the end of one school year and the start of another, teens can explore interests and find new passions; learn about oneself and the world around them; travel the world and connect with peers from both nea r and far. BBYO’s Summer Experiences bring together the best of the year-round AZA and BBG experience – lessons in leadership, community service, global connections, exploration and understanding of Jewish heritage and tradition. Teens arrive looking forward to a fun few weeks, and they return home inspired and energized by what they’ve learned, setting the course for a successful school year and future ahead. For decades, our programs at camp, on campus and around the world have served as second homes for teens. Supported by dedicated BBYO staff and advisors, teens form a peer community where they grow their skills and develop their character in a safe and supportive environment. Whether a participant is an active member of AZA or BBG or someone who is simply interested in having a memorable summer, we make the same commitment. They will have a safe, fun and meaningful experience with Jewish peers from across the world with whom they will be intertwined for the rest of their lives. Thank you for considering our programs. We look forward to an amazing summer. Sincerely, Matthew Grossman BBYO Executive Director 12 Check out OneHappyCamper.org to see if your teen is eligible to receive up to $1,000 for their first Jewish summer camp experience.
