JEI - SPIRITUAL - WRITING , REFLECTING AND MEDITATING , CUMBERLAND E 8:00 PM We ' ll engage in deep reflection before the recitation of the Shema at bedtime . We ' ll reflect on and share experiences that we ' re grateful for as a community . Following the reflection , our coordinators will lead us in guided meditation experiences to help us widen our array of techniques . We ' ll also unveil our new chapter resource , ' Mindfulness , Meditation and Mantra ,' to support innovative spirituality practices across the order .

Before we get down to work , we will take a moment to celebrate our collective wins this year . We ' ve made great progress and the BBYO International Convention Pre-Summits are the perfect platform from which we ' ll finish this year strong !
MGS - BEYOND THE BASICS : RELATIONSHIPS DRIVE RECRUITMENT , COCKRELL 8:00 PM You ’ re a member of AZA and BBG because at some point , a brother Aleph or Sister BBG met you , captured your contact information , invited you to an event , hosted you in a welcoming way and asked you to take part in AZA or BBG . Now you know their secret : their chapters had a thoughtful and strategic program calendar that made it possible for you to build strong relationships fast . Now you can do the same !

GPS - THE JEWISH COMMUNITY , A MIGRANT COMMUNITY , CUMBERLAND I / J / K / L 8:30 PM The story of refugees and immigrants is one we know well . As a migrant people our history reminds us how it feels to be one of the 65.3 million displaced people worldwide . We will learn how this global issue is relevant to us , and how as young Jews with a shared tradition , culture and history we can best support people currently in transit .
CNS - ELEVATING BBYO : UNDERSTANDING OUR POTENTIAL FROM A TO ZED , CUMBERLAND B / C 8:30 PM Convening together from across all Canadian regions , we have a unique opportunity to understand our collective potential and chart a course forward that energizes and rallies our communities . We ' re joined by a national leader and great friend of BBYO to learn how she mobilizes communities around the country to strengthen Jewish life .
