You will learn how to transform a community using our three step model and how you can help reduce sexual violence and create social justice. However, for many people, the AZA and BBG system, which is built along the gender binary, presents challenges to that goal. Some people identify as non-binary (neither male nor female), and some folks are simply uncomfortable with the idea of single-gender systems. Using real examples from AZA, BBG and BBYO chapters and regions from around the world and drawing inspiration from Jewish texts, we’ll explore possible approaches to overcome obstacles while remaining true to the ideals of the Order.
