We will have a chance to experience one today, and design our very own Canadian chapter initiative to launch in 2016! Don’t worry, we’ll also talk about Summer Experiences (get ready for a challenge!) and together we’ll have the time to conduct joint business as a Canadian delegation. EXECS – DELEGATE PREPARATION, KEY BALLROOM 9 9 AM Delegates will prepare for the International AZA BBG Joint Business Meeting. Now's your chance to do a final review of all legislation and business materials before the voting begins. GPS – IDENTIFYING AND TACKLING ISSUES, KEY BALLROOM 8 9 AM What are the issues facing our communities? When we talk about the resources that BBYO makes available to us – what can we actually do with them? Together, we will explore challenges that exist for the global Jewish community and you’ll work together to prioritze the best ideas. JEI – COMMUNITY – PUTTING TIKKUN OLAM INTO PRACTICE: SERVING THE BALTIMORE COMMUNITY!, DOUGLASS 9 AM We’ll travel into the Baltimore community to perform meaningful and interactive service work. This program will showcase the different choices you can make while songleading and what effect they have on the communal singing experience. JEI – SPIRITUAL – GETTING TO THE HEART OF IT: LEARNING TO LEAD MINDFULNESS AND MEDITATION PRACTICES; READY, SET, SLOW DOWN: TOOLS, TIPS AND TECHNIQUES ON BRINGING IT HOME, PACA 9 AM So many of us in BBYO are connecting deeply with mindfulness and meditation practices, especially during Shabbat services. This session will prepare participants to lead these experiences effectively and wholeheartedly.
