Summit – #NotHebrewSchool?

The type of Jewish education (often refered to as experiential
education) that takes place in settings such as youth groups and
summer camps has been a central part of the Jewish teen experience
for hundreds of thousands of Jews for decades. Teens will be asked
to share the impact of these experiences and offer new ideas that can
reach and inspire them.

Israel education and travel have proven to be remarkable opportunities
for educators and families to help young Jews form a powerful
connection to Israel and their Jewish identities. In this session, teens
will be asked to share their personal encounters with Israel, the
feelings generated by those encounters and ways in which Israel
might play more of a factor in the lives of young Jews.
