The Business Core helps you to build a solid foundation within each functional area of business administration . Through these courses , you will learn to see how these functional areas fit together , what their purpose is within practical business , and which ones are most suited to your interests and abilities .
Your knowledge will be placed in the context of the complex global environment that businesses must operate in , with a focus on how to solve international issues and challenges . By exposing you to a wide range of topics , the Business Core curriculum will create a platform for you to decide your major and choose your elective courses .
The courses range from understanding the principles of management to finance and marketing . In your final two years , you ’ ll complete the Business Core by taking advanced classes , which integrate recurring themes in global business .
