First, I would like to point out that it is always a good thing to look your best at all times, through exercise and a good diet. Although, you may have blown it that night at the romantic restaurant on the terrace. Just kidding. But, if you are not the weight that you normally are, then I would suggest not being hard on yourself in trying to lose weight just to fit into a wedding dress for that one day. That’s more stress than you will need at that time. Since the recommended planning time for a wedding is generally one year, then you may have time to slim down without feeling anxious. If you are planning on a much sooner date you definitely do not need that sort stress. It will only rob you of the delightful feelings. You will certainly want nothing more than to go and really enjoy the moment when you try on the dress for the first time. You’ve probably imagined this and having your chosen bridesmaid to accompany you on your mission in finding the perfect gown, is something you’ve anticipated for a while. Another thought I would like to offer, is that if you place your expectations too high in a moment, then you may end up letting yourself down with disappointment. That’s really advice that I would give to anyone in everyday life situations. But, for now it’s the wedding dress of concern here.
