It went something like this…
Off in the distance I believed I heard the sound of soft sleigh bells ringing assured. The drift of white snow lain down on my winter clothes, slumbering soundly, I needed to go! I gathered my things and went out for the day to at least say, “I started my shopping today.”
So, I got in my car and enjoyed the scene of the decorations and themes. I thought as I drove, that this city really puts on a great show of the whole Christmas thing. The traffic was heavy and we came to a stop. But why? I wondered when the light was green! Was it someone who was colored blind to my needs? I had to get on and accomplish my shopping goals that day. I turned up my music and decided to stay without worrying of the delay. I dared not let dismay come into play.
