Mount St. Louis

Ontario, Canada

It was at the age of 14 that these photos were taken of me at Mount St. Louis. I had a membership that year. This was in March of 1979 when we all returned on Spring Break to catch the last bit of skiing. We would ski pretty well up until the last patch of snow.

Back in the 70’s I always referred myself as a FASHION Hippie. I loved my long hair and popular music. Rob taught me how to dance on my skis, and how to jump and soar like an eagle. A heartfelt special thanks to Rob Huter for teaching me how to ski the bumps, the moguls, and to ski my very best. And most of all to just have fun. These memories have lasted a lifetime. A heartfelt thank you to the Huter family for looking after me at such a young age. For working so hard to provide us teenagers with a place that was positive and inspiring. The memories will last forever. I encourage everyone to get out this year and ski or snowboard.
