The interview

begins.

Steven

Tell me Rob, what is a day in the life of Rob Huter at Mount St. Louis Moonstone?

Rob

Steven, right now we are gearing up for an exciting ski season. So we are hiring staff of about 600 people, which is the amount of help needed when we are at full operation.

Steven

Skiing means a lot to many. What does skiing mean to you Rob?

Rob

Skiing for me has been a family thing. I started skiing when I was at the age of two. My dad taught me how to ski. From there, I put a lot of miles on, and for me, skiing is like walking. I do not even have to think about it.

It has given me the opportunity to travel the world. I have been to Europe, to China, to New Zealand, and all across North America. And now I have a family where we are doing the same thing, traveling all over the world. Right now I have two teenagers that are in Colorado training for the Ontario Park and Pipe. They are about three notches away from being on the Canadian National team. So, they like to fly upside down and spin around.

Steven

Just like dad! What was your nick name? Oh I remember... it was, ‘Air Bear’.

Rob

Yes, it was ‘Air Bear’.

Steven

And let me tell you, that was probably an understatement. If you had wings you were flying.

Rob

I broke a lot of skis when I was a kid.
