Love Story

BAY LIFE LIVING

Just after Christmas that year, she took the advice of the pageant director to look into the reality show herself to be a potential contestant.  January 15th at her first pre-production meeting, the executive producer and her connected on a professional level and later, after the taping of the first episode, in a more personal way.

After only a few months of dating, M’chel and the producer were engaged on a live television show, both produced and hosted by the same man on May 20th, 2009.  In a whirlwind red carpet event, the two were married at the World Trade Center Portland in front of hundreds of family, celebrities, producers and international guests sporting a 5 layer cake designed with Swarovski Austrian Crystals,  personalized Jones Soda bottles for the guests and Sound of Music impromptu skit and rounding off the evening with a helicopter flyby. Bringing together M’chel’s exstensive network and her new husbands’ volunteer and television connections they went to event after event, volunteer activities, fundraisers, Make-a-Wish projects and charity dinners to improve their communities. After winning honors for hair, M’chel went back to school to learn the cutting and coloring side of the hair world to add to her already award winning self taught styling.  Not content with being great at her career, in 2014 she decided to look at the glamorous side of the entertainment industry and was crowned Ms. Oregon Plus America 2014 followed by Mrs. Oregon Plus America in 2015.
