M'chel Bauxal-Gleason
M'chel Bauxal-Gleason is a Celebrity Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist and reining Mrs. Oregon Plus America 2015 known for providing hair and makeup services for an extensive list of celebrity clientele from Barack and Michelle Obama to some of Hollywood's brightest stars. Her styling can be seen on the Emmy Award Winning shows Portlandia, Grimm, Leverage and Good Morning America with awards for "Hair Stylist of the Year", "Best TV & Film Hair Stylist" and two time "Makeup Artist of the Year". She was recognized as the "Volunteer of the Year" for one of the largest cities in Oregon for her participation in the City of Hillsboro's Chamber of Commerce School to Work Program helping teens with their career development
M'chel relocated to Oregon after 11 years in Hollywood to be near family and enjoys appearing on makeup segments on the ABC affiliate station KATU on their "AM Northwest” morning talk show where she helps educate viewers on current makeup and hair trends and provides both hair and makeup services for many of the celebrity guests. She has been a beauty writer for online magazines and blogs and volunteers her time to help high school students and novice stylists and has been department head for hair and makeup for a team of over fifteen stylists at the annual Teen Idol talent competition produced by her husband. Recently M’chel was signed by Glam Elite Enterprise as her global agent.
Her self-owned contract company provides services in all aspects of the biz including film, television, commercial, print and video production. As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in LA and current Oregon President of the FIDM Alumni Association, she has her hand in fashion
design too.
