Rendi Cloe

Johnson

voted top writer

Writing, singing, dancing, and musical instruments were all of what encompassed Rendi as a curious young child. If it wasn’t a live play on stage at school, or a performance at home, it was an imaginary day to day performance in acting as if to be on stage. Those fantasies became realities starting at the age of 7 years old, when Rendi was featured weekly on a local television show in her hometown, called the Gold Fish Bowl. As a teenager, Rendi was nominated as a finalist in the Miss Teen Tennessee, where she went to Nashville for competition. A modeling agency offered her a contract that she turned down due to her father’s beliefs. It wasn’t until she graduated from high school that she began to really enjoy the things she wanted to do. She became a regular dancer on TNN’s Club Dance. During college, Rendi was offered a position with a radio station that landed her a career in writing and producing commercials on the air for a couple of years, before propelling on into television commercials

Became a LIVE TV HOST

She became a live television host for a show in Austin, TX, called Auction Access, becoming the Head Television Host. Writing commercials was the first hint of this being more than just fun. Knowing that she had always had a love for writing, she had considered it as a therapeutic hobby. Anytime she told a story to family or friends they would tell her she needed to write a book. Well, 4 books later, while currently working on two more, and writing for Bay Life Living Magazine, she realizes that it is more than just a hobby. She loves to write and convey her thoughts on paper. She says, “There is nothing that makes me feel better than putting creativity to work in the sense that others may find enjoyment in what I have written, and how it comes across as a feeling to the reader.” Her creative energy is driven by her desire to extend a message that people may learn from, enabling them the opportunity to take what has been delivered and to learn something from it for themselves.

Thank you Rendi for all your hard work, for your continuous support, and for always believing in this magazine. I would also like to extend my sincerest holiday wishes to you Rendi and your family.

Happy Holidays.
