To assemble your Hitchhiker Rig follow these simple few instructions:

- Take your tube-bait and insert your Hitchhiker. I prefer to make use of the Xcite Raptor Tail JNR due to it's high floating properties.

- Thread your bradied line with your preference of tungsten punching weight and bead.

- Tie on your preference of heavy gauge hook. I like to make use of a 5/0 hook for this rig.

- Rig the bait as you would do with any other soft plastic.

- Make sure the bend of the hook is in the middle of the bait and straight.

- You can add a rattle to the bait as well if you would like.

Now all that is left is to get on the water and put your hitchhiker rig to the test.

To add some additional flambouyance to this rig be sure to dip the skirt of your tube-bait in some chartruese dip before the rigging process.
