Replica of a conventional pre-WW1 sailors cap tally in black with gold inscription bearing the name of Sir Ernest Shackleton's British Antarctic Expedition ships: Endurance, Nimrod and Aurora (caps not included)

Beautiful antique Swiss 1920's glacier goggles. They come in the original metal tin. Used in good condition, vented eye pieces and cloth strap.

James Caird models are hand crafted to Museum Quality and made to order by Seb Coulthard FRGS, expedition engineer during the 2013 re-enactment of Sir Ernest Shackleton's 800 nautical mile voyage from Elephant Island to South Georgia; one of the greatest feats of seamanship ever recorded. Thanks to five years of extensive research, this beautiful model is believed to be the most accurate representation of the James Caird - a unique piece of British polar exploration history.

The lifeboat is ballasted to the correct proportion and has fully working rigging and rudder.

Every detail is reproduced at 1:15 scale. Model is fully assembled and ready for display on an English Oak stand.
