16 BAMOS Mar 2019 Awards “Weather-powered world” winners: 2018 AMOS Art Competition Veronica Tamsitt AMOS Education and Outreach Committee One of the highlights of the year for the AMOS Education and Outreach program is the annual Art Competition. In 2018, the theme of the competition was “Weather-powered world” and we invited students from Preschool to Grade 9 to submit an artwork illustrating how they imagine weather can power anything. We are pleased to present the winning art of the 2018 Art Competition. Many thanks to our judges Climarte and Simon Torok from Scientell. The judges had a difficult time in making their decision as we had so many fabulous entries. AMOS would like to thank all participants for taking the time to enter and sharing with us their amazing artwork.
