Thanks for sharing… Cooling off with Nicole Wall I love my bamboo clothing and have attached a picture of it in action. We had initially travelled to America for me to compete in the Triathlon World Championships in Chicago but we stayed longer and completed a four-day hike in the Grand Canyon. I used the stripey socks, support vest and other bits for my sport as well because bamboo is a great performance fabric and just so comfortable. Anyway here is me cooling off after a day’s hike at the bottom of an extremely hot Grand Canyon wearing the sports bra in a lagoon at Eagle Creek. Susie Cramp’s Buton conservation project I’m writing to your company because of the love of the outdoors that is behind your clothing and what would the outdoors be without the nature that lives there? I’ve bought clothing from you before and was impressed by the softness and lovely styles and the environmentally friendly nature of bamboo. This summer I will be undertaking conservation research in the unchartered rainforest of Buton Island in Indonesia with the conservation organisation Operation Wallacea. I’m involved with an initial assessment of biodiversity to get an idea of the impact of the hunting and deforestation that is happening. 18 Jane Jones Camino De Santiago Trail I have just finished walking the Camino de Santiago which took me 38 days carrying all my worldly goods the whole way, over 800kms – that’s freedom! I was 60 just after Christmas and although not the quickest I was happy with it – it’s not about speed anyway. I wore my BAM vest every single day. It was perfect due to its comfort and both warm and cool and of course it didn’t smell. Thanks for your stuff!
