REGENT CINEMA TOUR
Step back in time at the Regent Cinema, an
impressive building and local business that has been
a part of Ballarat’s history since 1928. Don’t miss this
rare opportunity to be a part of the guided tours which
will take you inside this historic building. You will also
have the chance to see fascinating footage and a
display of cinema technology through the years.

BALLARAT ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL
The building of Christ Church commenced in 1854, the same year as the Eureka
Rebellion. At a cost of more than £2000, the first stage of the church was completed by
contractors Backhouse and Reynolds in 1857. As the church grew, further extensions
were added in stages. This Cathedral draws many visitors and is still actively used as the
‘Mother Church’ of the Anglican Diocese of Ballarat.
