POETRY
Break Thru
Life’s obstacles can no longer hold me back
I break down barriers with my mind
I trample insecurities with determination
There are no limits
The course has been charted
No compass needed
Positive thoughts
Guide me towards
My final destination
Safely
To YOU

Triumph
Do not go gentle into that dark night
Where sun is absent, where moonlight hides face.
Charge forth and challenge ignorance with light
And dispel evil with beauty and grace.
We know there’s nothing new under sun
And that all it takes for evil to win
Is for good to turn tail without having begun
To stand up for the right to make evil spin!
But be no coward, stand not aside afraid
Draw forth your sword, charge forward into war
Slash and slice

Revenge
Skirt flew
Thrown onto back
Penetration inevitable
Crime committed
Sick to the stomach
When will this end?
Would someone please HELP!
Ridiculed, life taken away
Now depressed
Wrecked from the inside
Scars in memory
For years to come
Traumatic events
Continues to unfold
Tormented she screams at night
Afraid of the dark
Remembering that time,
Constantly
As she was ravished by a monster
Bruised, destroyed
Emotionally
Physically
Perpetrator walks
Now time has been served
Allowed to roam
Five years after
That’s all he got Where is the justice?
Now her life has been distraught.
Afraid, ashamed
Protection needed
She brandishes a weapon
A 9mm to be exact
He doesn’t forget
Tries to jump her once again
Gunshots Way from a mile can be heard
Only this time JUSTICE IS SERVED.
