Malissa Alanna is a stunningly beautiful and extraordinary talented young
woman with a level of maturity far beyond her years, coupled with an
infectious personality that captivates anyone she comes in contact with. She
is extremely passionate about her music and is determined to realize her
childhood dreams of being a superstar.

My favouite genre is of course country, but I do enjoy listening to all types

Where do you see your career going?
My ultimate goal would to be on the international stage representing
Barbados in the country genre.
It would be fantastic to be the first non north American woman to break into
the country arena.
What ‘s the response to your music thus far?
I have had a tremendously positive response from people from Barbados and
the region as well as internationally. I have a very wide international fan
base.
In her own words…
What caused you to seek a career in music?
From as far back as I can remember I had a great love for music and always
knew that it would be something that I would be involved in for the rest of
my life.
What's your passion in music and your favorite genre?
I love to write my own songs, putting the melody to the songs and hearing it

I have of course performed locally and in the United States. Some of my
most memorable performances would be performing at the Legendary
Awards in Atlanta and most recently in Burnsville North Carolina for their

What are your future plans for you this year?
I have just completed filming a movie here in Barbados which was a great
experience. I do have plans to go back to Nashville and record an EP which
I will be presenting to a record label.
I would like to do some touring through the USA, visiting schools and
wherever opportunities open for me.
I am also growing my brand as well as I have just launched my business
Malissa Alanna Entertainment which specializes in the rental of sound
equipment for bands and Djs. I will be bringing some unique equipment to
the rental market and I can see this business working with some event
planners. I also see myself doing some event planning as well.
