Across the globe, Baird associates showcase dedication and teamwork
to help build and strengthen communities. The firm and our associates
share a commitment to get involved, and we actively support associates’
individual and collective efforts to make a difference in the communities
where we live and work. For associates, volunteerism creates a sense of
camaraderie and personal fulfillment that can’t be measured.
This year has been another great year of volunteer activity and charitable
giving. Many of our associates hold leadership positions on the boards
of nonprofit organizations, and we’re extremely proud of the way our
associates continue to embrace Baird’s commitment to our communities.
To further support associates and the firm’s charitable endeavors, Baird
Foundation expanded its Matching Gift Program in 2015. We are pleased
to say that participation rose sharply and contributions nearly doubled
throughout the year.
On January 1, 2016, Steve became Baird’s Chief Executive Officer, while
Paul continues to remain actively involved as Chairman. With the
leadership transition, you can be confident that Baird’s commitment to
building communities together is as strong as ever. The two of us have
worked side-by-side for more than 25 years and share the same values
and focus on serving clients, creating a great place to work and giving
back to the community.
