A
re you afraid to have a real
relationship with a High-
er Power? The way society
and religion have portrayed this
all-mighty, all-powerful being, I’d
be afraid too. We misunderstand
what the Creator is. It is a Life Force
that created all of the Universe and
every being in it. Einstein told us
that, “Energy cannot be created or
destroyed, it can only be changed
from one form to another.”
You can call this Life Force, God,
Universe, Creator, Great Spirit,
whatever name you choose. The
fact of the matter is that you un-
derstand and know that this en-
ergy flows through you. It flows
through everyone and when we
stop being so afraid, we can har-
ness this powerful, unlimited en-
ergy for our own good.
God is not vengeful. The Universe
is not punishing us for any wrongs
we may have committed. The rea-
son we have a hard time accept-
ing this is because we want to
believe that the people who hurt
us are punished for their wrong-
doings. The truth is, they wouldn’t
have hurt us if they weren’t already
tormented in some way. Pain can
make people do the unthinkable.
Until we break the cycle, pain and
suffering will continue to spread.
We wonder why God doesn’t just
take all the pain away. Why does
the Almighty allow such tragedy?
Why are children dying of can-
cer? Why are there so many mass
shootings? Why are little girls be-
ing sold to the highest bidder?
You can blame God all you want,
but remember this energy flows
through you. So we must then
consider, where are we at fault?
This is what scares so many peo-
ple. It is difficult to imagine your-
self with so much power. It is in
direct opposition to what society
has taught you to believe.
We were given free will. We can
choose to accept that we are sep-
arate from God or we can choose
to know that we are One with this
powerful, unlimited Life Force and
do what we were called here to
do.
How do we do this? We start by ac-
cepting our connection to the Cre-
ator, by knowing without a shadow
of a doubt that God and I are One.
It is impossible for the Ego to view
itself as one with God, so this is not
about having a god-complex, this
is about harnessing your own cre-
ative and manifesting potential for
your highest good and the highest
good of all.
Once you have accepted this fact,
you can then begin building a re-
lationship. This is why self-care is
