APPLICATION Start your contour by taking your flat angle brush and tapping it on the contour shade of your choice. The darker your skin the darker you will want to go. Take the brush and place it right where the top of your ear attaches to the side of your face. Drag the brush down along the bottom edge of your cheek bone until it hits about midway to 3/4 of the way down. If you’re not quite sure where that would be, use your fingers to feel where the bottom of your cheekbone really is. Repeat on the other side. Next take the bottom (smaller end) of your Heavenly Luxe brush (this can be done with an eyeshadow brush as well), apply contour to the brush, and apply that to the side of your nose, avoiding the bridge and where your nose attaches to your face. Take the larger end of the Heavenly Luxe Brush (or other medium stiffness complexion brush) and apply the contour to temples and forehead (in my case this is to create more of a forehead instead of a fivehead.) To do this, take the brush and sweep back and forth (think windshield wiper) along the outer edge of your forehead, along the hairline. NOW WE BLEND Take your beauty blender sponge and make “tap tap” motion along every contour line you created to blur any harsh lines. Now take your Heavenly Luxe brush and brush it against your wrist or towel to clean out any excess. This next step is crucial to a Kardashian like contour: Once clean, swirl your brush along the contour lines in small circular motions, going slightly outside the line you created. This makes it appear more natural, blended, and soft, yet still giving you the contoured effect. Some women also want to contour their jawline, chin, or neck. If so, just use the same application process and you are golden.
