SPICY
DILL
PICKLE
BLOODY MARYS
by Morgan Shupe
B
loody Marys (or their clam-tastic cousin,
Caesars, that are popular over here in Canada) are the perfect mid-morning, early afternoon drink, and will fool any hangover you got.
This Spicy Dill Pickle Bloody Mary is made fresh
with homemade Bloody Mary Mix of tomatoes,
celery, cucumber, and bell peppers.
If you are running short of time, switch out the
fresh tomato-vegetable juice with store bought
tomato, tomato-vegetable juice or clamato juice.
For a switch up on the traditional, try freezing
the Bloody Mary Mix into ice cubes. Serve the ice
cubes with Spicy Dill Pickle Vodka for a reverse
bloody mary.
This Bloody Mary Mix is makes a great gazpacho
just skip straining and maybe don’t add the vodka.
