Keep your guests busy until fireworks by providing several different options of things for them to do ! This will keep them entertained as well as help create a good flow through out the event .
• Yard games ! Set up a bottle ring toss with some of those painted red and blue bottles , croquette , maybe a football , some mitts to play catch , or a Frisbee !
• What ’ s better on a hot summer day than some good old water fight action ?! Fill up some water balloons or set up a slip and slide and let the kids go at it ! It will keep them cool and busy !

• Sparkler Favors ! Create bunches of sparklers ( about five each ) and tie them up with a decorative ribbon . Add a cute tag with each guests name on them ! Put them out at dusk and let your guests go find there bunch and watch them enjoy some good old sparkler fun !
• Firecracker Treats ! Take empty toilet paper rolls and fill them with some star confetti and little favors ( candy , tattoos , bouncy balls , bubbles etc .). Once they are filled , wrap them in decorative paper and tie of the ends with curling ribbons and some silver star garlands . Let each child have a firecracker ! They will love what they find inside when they tear open the top !
• Sunscreen please ! Be totally prepared for a hot outside day full of sunshine and bugs ! Place bug spray and some sunscreen options in a decorative bucket outside for your guests to use . This will ensure they can make it through fireworks and won ’ t be miserable the next day with a sunburn !
