N
o matter where you’re
from or what you do, we
all share something in
common—a desire to be success-
ful. We want to live a life that
matters. While each person’s
definition of success is different,
here are 10 best ways to unleash
your greatness that include
wisdom from some of the world’s
most successful and renowned
people:
Think BIG!
“The greater danger for most of
us lies not in setting our aim too
high and falling short; but in set-
ting our aim too low, and achiev-
ing our mark.” From Michelan-
gelo Buonarroti
Have new and innovative ideas.
If you have an idea and it scares
you that means it's going to
stretch you. Stand tall, step
into your light and share your
brilliance the way only you can.
Remember, God doesn't look at
your bank account to determine
what to bring you; He looks at
your FAITH. Trust that. Believe
in that.
Believe in yourself and your ca-
pacity to receive. Remember...
“If you can dream it, you can do
it.” Walter Disney
Find and LIVE Your Passion.
“You know you are on the road to
success if you would do your job
and not be paid for it.” Oprah
Winfrey
I believe that when we find and
live our passion and purpose in
life, we are leading a life that
matters. We are creating a legacy
we can be proud of and one that
future generations will embrace.
We are at our best when we are
moving in the direction of our
vision. Know your passion. Be-
lieve in your purpose. Live your
purpose with passion every single
day.
Balance Life.
Our ability to effectively balance
work and life is the true secret to
success. There are times in life
when we lean towards one area
of life over another. Focusing on
the right things and learning to
relax is critical.
Embrace Failure.
I believe failure isn't failure
unless we don’t learn the lesson.
It’s an opportunity to rise higher
and stronger. Fear can often stop
us in our tracks. Here’s a differ-
ent way to think about fear that
will immediately empower you to
move beyond them.
Think of fear as someone that
will always be there. When you
get in the car, buckle up fear in
the back seat. Do not let it take
the wheel or the navigation sys-
tem. Make it clear to fear that it
doesn't have a voice. Fear shrinks
us. Taking imperfect action
expands us. You can only feel
one thing at a time - fear or love.
Which do you choose? I choose
love.
Have An Unwavering Resolve
To Succeed.
One of the things that most
successful people do is anticipate
that there are going to be chal-
lenges and know ahead of time
they are going to work through
them. This is the ONE thing that
makes the difference between
success and failure.
When you start a new exercise
plan, you know there are days
you are going to be tired and sore
but you get your butt up and
exercise. Know, feel and believe
in your ability to figure it out.
Take Action.
"Those who have a strong sense
of love and belonging have the
courage to be imperfect." Brene
Brown
As the slogan "just do it" implies,
to be successful, you must take
action. What stops most people
is perfectionism. Remember that
nothing is ever perfect. You must
take imperfect action to make
progress. That's that only way to
move forward.
Respect Others and Resolve
Conflicts.
“The most important single in-
gredient in the formula of suc-
cess is knowing how to get along
with people.” Theodore Roos-
evelt, 26th President of America
One of the keys to successful
relationships is a mutual respect.
I think this is true in all relation-
ships. We may not always like or
agree with someone. I believe if
you respect them, you can more
easily resolve conflicts. I've found
that active listening, understand-
ing perspectives and knowing
what they want is key to creating
win-win results.
