The Rob Noel Academy has stepped up the junior golf program with an initiative to bring golf to players who have never played before . Maurice Prinsloo heads the Junior Golf Excellence program out at Money Hill Country Club where the Rob Noel Academy calls home .
The Junior Golf Excellence program started four years ago and has been a huge success to gather juniors and get them started toward their golfing careers , whether it is just for fun or competitive .
The program provides golf clubs , and it doesn ’ t require that parents make an investment in golf clubs . PGA professionals teach in the program .
Prinsloo said , “ The Program is very affordable . There are eight total sessions , and PGA professionals teach all of them .”
The program involves three levels of teaching : bogey , par and birdie . Each one involves different rules , etiquette , and techniques . There is a quiz , a 3-hole tournament , and a prize at the end of each of the sessions .
The next available groups start in March . The sessions are available during the week or on the weekends . For 8 sessions of professional teaching at any of the specific levels , the cost is $ 265 .
