New Orleans youngster finishes T2 at DC&P 10-year-old Morgan Guepet of New Orleans finished tied for 2nd place in her age division in the 2016 Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship at Augusta National prior to the start of The Masters. She is one of 80 junior golfers nationwide who competed, and she is the only one from Louisiana. Morgan advanced through local, sub-regional and regional qualifiers. She earned her trip to Augusta by winning the regional Drive, Chip, and Putt last year at the Golf Club of Houston, host club of the Shell Houston Open. Golfers are scored on a series of drives, chips, and putts. The drive and chip skills were conducted Sunday on Augusta’s practice facility. The putting took place on the famed 18th green, where legends like Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus have secured titles and the traditional green jacket that goes to the champion. “My dad has always told me if you work really hard, you can do whatever you want,” said Morgan. “Like Jordan Spieth says, ‘Aim small, miss small.’” T
