LSU takes tiger classic
LSU followed a 1-under 287 with a 5-under 283 to finish with a 6-under 570 at the Tiger Classic. Southeastern
was within two shots of the defending national champion after shooting a first-round 1-over 289. But with the
wind picking up in the afternoon, the Lions shot an 18-over 306 to finish at 19-over 589. Nicholls was third
at 42-over 618 and was followed by Lamar (623), New Orleans (633) and Jackson State (694) in the one-day,
