Canebrake takes home 2016 Bryan Cup
West Point, Mississippi – The
2016 Bryan Cup Team Club
Championship took place at Old
Waverly Country Club in West
Point, Mississippi.
Both mornings were brisk, but
they turned out to be great days
for golf. There was some great
competition between the club teams,
as several, including Canbrake
Country Club, Annandale Country
Club, Old Waverly Country Club,
and one of Castlewoods Country
Club’s teams, took an early lead
after day one.
As the individual standings go,
both Neil Trimm and Noah West
took the lead with scores of 69 (-3)
after the first round.
Day two got kicked into high
gear with the teams trying to get
the number one spot. In the end,
Canebrake held onto the lead and
took home the cup. Old Waverly
had both of their teams place in
the top 4, along with one of the
Castlewoods teams.
Neil Trimm placed first
individually for the Regular
Division and Chris Lemley for the
Senior Division.
We would like to thank Greg
Flannagan and everyone at Old Waverly
Country Club for hosting The Bryan Cup
and we look forward to next year’s event.
