When did you know you
wanted to have a career in
the golf industry?
After I finished playing at
Southern Miss, I tried to play
professionally. After three or so
years, I decided to get into the
Tim with wife Laura and children Bryant and Eliza.
golf business. I was the assistant
coach at Southern Miss for a
short stint and then VJ Trolio and Old Waverly called and asked if I would be interested
in teaching short game. Since 2007, VJ and I have worked together as a team helping
golfers of all levels, from the beginner to the Tour player.

How old were you when you began playing golf? 7
What is your best golf memory?
I am not sure that I have one exact memory that clearly stands above the rest, but I will
always cherish the memories of playing high school golf under the coaching of my dad.
The years I played at Southern Miss were awesome. In 2002, I qualified for the
NCAA East Regional as an individual, that was a goal that I worked toward for much
of my collegiate career. In 2012, I was honored to be inducted into the Southern Miss
Sports Hall of Fame.

What is your best golf memory? Meeting and conversing with
Seve Ballesteros in my first PGA Tour event. Playing golf and becoming
freinds with Hall of Fame guitarist of Rush Alex Lifeson.
Does your club have a tradition of activities during the holidays?
MCC has a year end Ryder Cup style event called the “Black and
Gold Cup” for the MGA as well as a year-end nine hole event for
all MGA members that includes complementary food and beverage
following play. The LGA has an annual Christmas Luncheon.
