The opening of the new
facility in Livingston, Higgs
Physical Therapy, brings a great
deal of excitement to the staff
of Ponchatoula Therapy along
with a lot of responsibility. A
new employee of Ponchatoula
Therapy, Mallory Kraft, will
join Joel Scherr to help with
the Ponchatoula location while
Scott and Carrie Higgs run the
Livingston location.
The toughest part about
opening the new business is the
advertisement and gaining a
support system in a new area.
The Livingston location will
be open 8 a.m.-5p.m., while
the Ponchatoula location will
be open from 8 a.m.-6p.m.. A
key new feature Scott Higgs is
incorporating to the new location
is the Titleist Performance
Institute, which is a teaching of
golf mechanics and rehab.
The Livingston location
opened on Oct. 30 and
currently is accepting same day
appointments. Both locations
look to help with therapy from
teenagers to elderly and all
in between. Currently, the
Ponchatoula location is offering
a wellness program post therapy
which is a program that patients
can get on to continuously work
with the therapists to strengthen
their bodies after therapy.
