Men’s and Women’s State Mid-Amateur Championship

Format: The Mid Amateur Championship is scheduled for 54 holes of stroke play. If conditions necessitate the championship being
shortened, it will be done at the conclusion of a stipulated round. The field size is limited to the first 96 paid players.
Eligibility: Entry is open to male and female amateurs who have reached their 25 th birthday and are bona fide residents of the state of
Mississippi for at least 60 days prior to June 1, 2018. All players must conform with the USGA Rules of Amateur Status as described in
the USGA Rules of Golf. All participants are required to have an active GHIN Handicap through a USGA Licensed Mississippi
Member Club.
Entry Fee and Tournament Deadline: The entry fee of $225 per player ($233 credit or debit) includes cart and range fee for all three
rounds. The entry deadline is Friday, May 25, 2018 at 12pm or when the field is full, whichever is first.
Rules and Regulations: All participants agree to abide by the written rules, regulations and dress code found at www.missgolf.org.
Refund Policy: If a player withdraws prior to the entry deadline he will receive a full refund, minus a $20.00 administration fee. If a
player withdraws after the entry deadline has passed, the player will not receive a refund.
Practice Round: Practice rounds are available at Canebrake Country Club, please call to reserve a time (601)-271-2010.
