Davis & Granger win LWGA Championship
Kathy Davis, Bossier City, and Lillian
Granger, Shreveport, partnered to win the
17th Louisiana Women’s Golf Association
Four-Ball Championship at Koasati Pines at
Coushatta, Kinder, April 30 – May 1. Their
winning score was 72-71 – 143, with 34
teams competing for the title.

Sonnier/Ishee claim Pro-Pro Championship
The team of Greg Sonnier and
Nic Ishee have earned the honor of
being named the 2018 ANTIGUA/
Haas-Jordan/Courtesy Golf Cars
Pro-Pro Champions with a team
score of eight under, 64. This year’s
Gulf States Section event was held at
Greystone Golf & Country Club in
Denham Springs, on Monday, May 7.
Fifty-one players gathered on a
picture-perfect day for golf, forming
58 teams. There was a two-way tie for
second place between the teams of
Greg Sonnier/Gavin Vegas and Greg
Sonnier/Rory Nelson with scores
of six-under, 66. Closest to the Hole
winners were Reed Hughes, Gamon
Manne, Joshua Tomblin, and David
Coleman.
The Gulf States Section of the
PGA of America thanked ANTIGUA
and Oakley for Closest to the Hole
prizes.
The Gulf States PGA Section
