Paxton Claubaugh , PGA , joins Carter Plantation staff
Paxton Clabaugh has joined Carter Plantation as the new teaching professional . This PGA member is looking forward to implementing the IGROW program at Carter , a program for which is licensed .
A Class A professional , this 23-year-old says that his aim is to promote golf as much as possible . Having trained at Oak Harbor under George Casino , he is strongly focused on growing junior golf .
Clabaugh offers three types of lessons : hour-long junior lessons , half-hour and hourlong adult lessons .
“ I studied golf under David Orr , a putting instructor on Tour ,” he said . “ I ’ m really focused on growing golf at Carter Plantation and creating a unique junior program .”
Hammond is a 13-hour venture from his former home in North Carolina , but Clabaugh says he is more than happy to be continuing his career further south .
