$20 - $25 First Swing is a golf development program for beginners and newcomers to the game. This includes golfers brand new to the game or those who tried early only to find they couldn’t launch. Don’t give up, there is a way to get into the game. First Swing offers a fun and effective way to do so. The objective is to get you on to a path that will allow you to master golf skills along the way that then permit you to transition on to the golf course, thus turning you into a regular golfer. Here is how to get the most out of First Swing. Attend both the Short Game “Putting and Chipping” session and the Full Game “Full Swing with irons & woods”. If you enjoyed these initial sessions but want to get a bit more, sign up and go back through them again. For each that attend a First Swing session, the Pro will get with you and set up a Play Day known as Newbie On Course; this is when the Pro will go with you and coach you through the various segments of a round. Basically, it is as many holes you can play, but it will serve as a playing lesson to get you ready for playing more often with confidence. There will be other activities, such as Get Golf Ready and Newbie Leagues; all design to make your golfing efforts worth it. What’s being taught? There are three skill aspects of the golf game that need to be learned and mastered in order for any golfer to play the game well. That is not to say there aren’t more aspects, but they come later in development once the golfer establishes themselves beyond the initial s tages. These primary (and fundamental) skills are Full Swing, Short Game (close to and around the green), and Putting. Golfers that invest in instruction in these aspects early in their development will find they will learn the game twice as fast as trying to learn on their own or gleen off the advice of their friends or relatives. The Full Swing is your gateway into the game offering affordable & accessible venues. How to register and attend.
