Cleveland Country Club invites you to play in the Sonny Andrews Junior Invitational. New and
exciting additions have been made to the tournament and we hope you will take advantage of these
opportunities. Read below for all the details.
Format and Points Distribution
The tournament is scheduled for 2 rounds of play for each division. Player’s division is based on his
or her age on June 1, 2017. Points are awarded for the MJGA Player of the Year standings. Results are
submitted to Junior Golf Scoreboard and AJGA Stars may be awarded if field size requirements set by

The Sonny Andrews Junior Championship and local Cleveland community will award several
scholarships for participants in the championship. Boys age 14-18 and girls age 13-18 are eligible.
Scholarships will be awarded to the top finishers and if the required minimum is not met, amount will
be prorated. Scholarships are distributed to the college or university of his or her choice.
Boys, age 14-18, for 30 entries
1st place - $1000
2nd place - $750
3rd place - $500
4th place - $400
Girls, age 13-18, for 12 entries
1st place - $1000
2nd place - $750
3rd place - $500
Registration
The entry fee of $88 includes golf, practice round, practice balls and lunch each day. Junior golfers
are not required to be from Mississippi. Registrations are accepted online at www.missgolf.org/
