It was another stunning day in Alabama . Kiva Dunes , the closest course to Barefoot , was on the agenda . I was nervous , but this was my favorite day of playing golf . I didn ’ t start off well , but I got in the grove and actually had several good drives .
It didn ’ t matter . Jake said it wouldn ’ t , and he was right . The weather was beautiful , and the company was even better . At Kiva Dunes , the forward tees were a welcome sight on every hole as those in the back offered a little too much challenge for this beginning golfer .
Kiva Dunes is a great place to get started playing golf “ for real .” If you ’ re not playing well , and I wasn ’ t , the surroundings offer breathtaking golf course views . I could spend time taking you through every hole , but Dave Lagarde did that for us in the

What I ’ ll do is take you through the amenities and why choosing to stay and play at Kiva Dunes is another Gulf Shores option that you should have on your golf bucket list . And I would have an annual and recurring bucket list for that if I were you .
