Diamondators grab Gulf Coast Cup
Two great teams took to the golf course
Nov. 26 at Diamondhead Country Club to
determine the Gulf Coast Cup champions
for the 2017 Fall Season. As the dust settled,
Team Pascagoula, led by Henry Ros and
Philip Lachaussee’s -1 performance, finished
at +2 on the day for their team total. Team
Diamondhead Diamondators, anchored
by the -2 score from Peyton Russell and
Karstyn Altese, completed the match with a
-2 team total and the win.
“We expected a close match with Team
Pascagoula because they have some really
talented junior golfers and good coaching

as well,” said Diamondhead Coach Gregg
Altese.
Overall, Diamondhead reported a great
season by all league teams and offered
congratulations to Coach Gregg Altese
and the Diamondhead Diamondators on
winning the 2017 Fall Season Gulf Coast
Cup.
