Meet the Researcher – Dundee Science Centre
On Wednesday 9th March, 4 pupils from Breadalbane Academy attended a national event at Dundee Science
Centre organised by the charity Medical Research Scotland. Aislinn Borland, Beth Procter, Beth MacCallum
and Megan Leishman were able to interact with undergraduate and postgraduate students to find out about
their current research and PhD projects. The day also focussed on careers in medical research and the pupils
gained a valuable insight into possible careers in science. The event was also attended by HRH Princess Ann,
who is patron of Medical Research Scotland.
