ATO supporting small businesses in the Central Coast

Small businesses are an important part of local communities and play a significant role in the economic health of Australia . The Australian Taxation Office ( ATO ) is committed to supporting small businesses and improving their tax and super experience . Visit us at the Central Coast Connections Forum event and speak with our staff , ask questions and learn about our initiatives designed to help you .
In March we will also be holding face to face workshops in the Central Coast region , where we welcome small business owners to come along and talk with our staff . These workshops aim to help small businesses access the right information , at the right time , in the right way . At the Tax essentials for small business workshop , you can learn about which business structure is best for you , how to register your business and how to keep track of your business through good record keeping .
The Record keeping for small business workshop expands on keeping good and complete records , including tips and traps to avoid , and how to complete a stocktake . At both workshops we will show you how to use our online tools and resources .
