Here, we’ll look at them through brand new perspectives and learn what it is like to celebrate Shabbat worldwide. Let’s take a journey through the popular board game Candyland, learning about the meaning of prayers and how Israeli food relates. Music and prayer will help guide us in an exploration of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world, and we will discuss how music can be a form of healing to many people. This service will have interactive moments and we will ask you how music and prayer helps to influence your thoughts and opinions and serves as a place of healing and repairing for you and society. By learning from the political characters and the challenges they face, our kavanah, intention, will be heightened and we will learn about ourselves. Throughout the service, we will relate the stars to our prayers and share stories about our personal heroes. Siddur: Sim Shalom Women in Israel, Cumberland J u Explore the role of the all-too-often overlooked female heroes of Israeli history. Discuss the inspiration we can take from women like Golda Meir, Hannah Szenes, Tzipi Livni and others. We will learn about these heroines, discuss how their actions have influenced history and understand how we can take inspiration from their stories as proud, young, Jewish women.
