Sweet Dreams
Preparations are underway for the forthcoming Dance production, ‘Sweet Dreams’ inspired by Matthew Bourne’s
Nutcracker! Year 8-11 students have been working incredibly hard in weekly rehearsals this half term. It is such a
wonderful opportunity to showcase the talented and professional dancers we have at Avon Valley. There will also be the
opportunity for some of our Year 7’s to get involved and join our cast after half term.
The story follows orphan Clara, as she embarks on a magical journey to sweetie land, meeting the wonderful sweetie
characters on the way as she searches for the Nutcracker who comes to life.
The production will take place on Thursday 1st December at 7pm. Tickets will be available from Mu5. Tickets are priced
at £5 adult and £3 concession.
