MFL The Modern Foreign Languages Department have been running a foreign film club after school on the first Wednesday of each month. A number of fantastic films have already been shown in French with English subtitles, such as: The adventures of Tintin, the extraordinary adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec, Micmacs, Le Petit Prince, Lucky Luke and the wonderful Christmas movie, Le Père Noël, which was a big hit! If you haven’t yet joined us, come along with your friends and enjoy a great movie with free popcorn!! Our next movie is: Asterix et Obélix: Mission Cléopatre on Wednesday 6 th June at 3.20 – 5.00pm in LA4 – DON’T MISS IT!!! Year 11 Revision The GCSE French, Spanish & German exams are fast approaching. Year 11s have received a wealth of revision material which are accessible via doddle, the student shared area (in school), or from your teachers. In preparation for the exams, please use the Reading & Listening booklets provided and take advantage of the after school revision sessions in LA1 on Tuesday- Friday from 3.05pm-4.05pm. You can also log on to Quizlet to practise the key vocabulary by topic (also on Doddle). Year 10 Revision Year 10 are also invited to attend after school revision sessions in LA1 on Tuesday – Friday from 3.05pm-4.05pm. Here you will be able to practise grammar points, key vocabulary and complete any homework necessary.
