NEW FREE ONLINE GUIDES FOR PARENTS
Warwickshire Public Health has recently purchased three acclaimed, evidence-based online guides (courses) to help
build parental confidence:
Understanding Your Child (for parents of 0-18 years olds)
Understanding Your Baby (newborn)
Understanding Your Pregnancy
By the time children reach 14 years of age, 50% of mental health problems are already established, so we
know we need to act earlier in Warwickshire to help grow parents’ confidence, understanding and re-
sponsiveness to their children.
These three guides are designed to support mums, dads and carers in developing positive
relationships with their children. In turn, this will help to strengthen emotional resilience and
wellbeing, so children are able to bounce back from life’s various challenges.
