The French Air Force's Ramex Delta Display Team sadly performed its last public displays at RIAT in 2016. The team's Mirage 2000Ns have amazed thousands of air show spectators, so their departure will be felt by all aviation fans. One of this year's demonstration jets was painted to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Lafayette Escadrille – a French Air Service squadron made up mostly of American volunteers that fought during World War One.
