The town of Jermuk is most famous for its natural hot springs, mineral water, and winter sporting facilities. Take a plunge into Jermuk’ssoothing and therapeutic springs and mineral pools.

Archaeological excavations revealed that this region was inhabited as early as the 2nd to 1st millennia BCE. Remains of a medieval stone pool suggest residents have been enjoying Jermuk’s mineral waters for hundreds of years.

Jermuk has a ropeway, built in 2007, which operates all year round. You can ride the ropeway to a height of 2,480 meters, and in the winter rent skis or snowboards to glide down two trails.

The town’s name, which literally translates to “warm mineral spring”, may be familiar to you as you’ve probably tasted
