4.1 Musaler Memorial
One of the most popular tourist destinations near Yerevan is the city of Vagharshapat, commonly known as Echmiatsin. On the road to Echmiatsin from Yerevan is Musaler village, where the Musaler (Mount Musa, commonly known as Musa Dagh) Resistance Museum and Memorial is located. While the actual Musa Dagh is located in Turkey,this site memorializes the resistance held by the region’s Armenians against Genocide by the Ottoman state during World War I (1914-1918).
Vagharshapat City
