3.3 Parajanov Museum
Those interested in Armenian filmmaking traditions should visit the Sergei Parajanov Museum , located next to the Hrazdan River within a five-minute walking distance from St. Sarkis Cathedral. The museum has 250 works, documents and photos of the Armenian filmmaker
and painter. For dinner, select from one of the many restaurants on Proshian Street that serve barbequed meat (khorovats). Due to the vast number of adjacent restaurants serving nearly identical menus of this local favorite, Proshian Street has earned the popular name of Khorovats Street (barbeque street).
