2.2 Cascade
Gaze out across the city by walking up the giant staircase known
as Cascade - or take the escalators instead. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city and take a tour through the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. The center offers a wide variety of exhibitions, inherited from American-Armenian philanthropist Gerard Cafesjian’s (1925-2013) collection of contemporary art. At the bottom of the Cascade steps, pleasant cafés and restaurants can be found along the tree-lined streets around a sculpture garden, such as Paulaner Beerhouse, where you can sit out in the summertime and much of the fall,
and enjoy meals amidst the beautiful scenery.
